麺屋 極鶏/Menya Gokkei (Ichijoji,Kyoto)

After a whole day working with no rest, the work finally finished.
Then I went to the noodle restaurant which is called 極鶏(gokkei)with my junior friend.
We went there 15 minutes earlier than the open time,
but there were already more than 15 people standing in a long line and waiting.
I ordered【赤だく(700円)/ akadaku 700Yen】 this time and it took no long before the order came.
It looked awful. Firstly I tasted the soup.
“Wow, it’s heavenly!!!”
As it appears to be, the soup is thick, and the mouthfeel resembles clam chowder.
The widely-spread red pepper in the bowl has pleasant stimulus in mouth.
It is not as spicy as expected, and noodle is perfectly compatible with the flavourful soup.
The noodle is in its medium thickness, and is very chewy. Anyway, the noodle with the soup is the best combination. The dried bambooshoot is soft and very delicious. It was very delicious and I ate it up completely.
I gave it an appraisal of 4.38★★★★☆.
Akadaku I tried this time is the best gourmet for dinner in winter.
I think of it many times and want to eat it again, so it may be not appropriate for dieting.
一乗寺【極鶏】
本日は後輩と一乗寺【極鶏】へ。
今まで昼から夜まで休憩なしの通し営業だったが、人出不足のため通し営業システムは終了。
夜営業15分前に到着すると、すでに15人以上の待ち列が。
今回は【赤だく(700円)】を注文。ほどなくして着丼。地獄絵図のようなビジュアル。
まずはスープから。
うっ…うまい…!!!
見た目通り濃厚で粘度の高い、クラムチャウダーのような食感。
器全体にブワッと広がる唐辛子は、口に入れるとほどよい刺激。
スープと混ぜると思ったほど辛くはなく、旨みが凝縮された鶏だくスープとの相性は完ぺき。
麺はモチシコの中太ストレート。とにかく麺との絡みが抜群で、スープがほとんど残らない。
地味に極太のメンマが柔らかく、超絶美味。
赤だくで汗だくになりながら完飲完食。ご馳走様でした。

中毒性はより高いのでダイエットには不向きだが、超オススメです!
