My first visit to “En No Suke Shoten” which is located only one minute walk from Awaji station. There are quite the rumors that the ramens around Awaji are literally HOT. I ordered “large size Aji-tama Pota Chiki Soba -800yen” The bowl soon came as I had some free Kimchi while waiting. Tried the soup first.
Wow…it’s heavenly!!!
Potage-like chicken soup which is becoming major these days. Although it was very thick that the china spoon could even stand by itself in there, the taste was rather lighter than I thought. It had sweetness that must be extracted from vegetables cooked with chicken bones. This one felt more refreshing than the similar taste’s Osugi Seimen. The homemade noodles were mid-soft, mid-thick, and straight. They lifted up the soup very well as low water-added, so that the soup was almost all gone when I finished eating noodles.
I was very eager to finish all the non-too-heavy potage. Was good.
Notalog gives it the score of 3.85★★★☆☆
I was kind of enchanted by the store staffs’ enthusiasm toward ramen which I could see from posters on the wall showing how they set benchmarks at major ramen shops like Sanku, Junk Story, and the others. They must be following after Sanku for coming out the door to greet leaving customers. The challenging attitude even gave me good effects for my working-attitude. I’ll soon come again to this nice shop.
