Men to Hito／麺と人
天神橋筋六丁目(Tenjinbashi 6-chome,Osaka)
The other day, I visited “Men To Hito” in Tenjinbashi-Suji 6-Chome area. This place is famous for Miso ramen which was one of the ramen trends in 2015. I reached there right before its close time. Quickly ordered the “Tokusei Chashu Miso Men with extra Ni-Tamago -890yen,” and the bowl soon came. Tried the soup first.
Wow…it’s heavenly!!!
The miso potage almost made me moan. My favorite type of the soup that’s extremely rich and thick, and have a little roughness in touch. Although its chicken flavor is strong, it has certain sweetness of vegetables, thus the taste has no smell and rather refreshing. This soup is surprisingly a Star Wars-like story teller that I could feel “Miso to the Chicken and then back to the Miso” flow within one sip.
The homemade noodles were mid-thick and straight. The thickness and the flour taste were perfectly matching with the soup to create the sense of UNITY. The noodles were larger than I imagined.
Every single bite of this bowl of noodles is qualified including the toppings like Ni-Tamago and rare Chashu slices.

Next time, I’ll visit the place for the super thick breaking-bone ramen. Very impressed with this addictive ramen! Definitely a recommendation!
